Sorting

We know the disorganised way in which hospitals disclose records. We will take that off your hands and arrange them in a clear and concise manner. We will also identify any missing records and advise as to whether they are likely to be relevant to the case.

 

We offer two levels of service:

 

• Light Pagination: A core bundle of documents of only the relevant records from the index event will be extracted from the records

 

• Full Pagination: A bundle will be created of all records disclosed

 

Pagination

We will paginate the sorted bundle of records for you.

 

We can prepare electronic bundles to enable quick referencing and shortcuts to different sections of the records.

 

Index

A detailed index will be prepared to ensure the records are easily accessible when you need a certain document (i.e. in conference) or for experts to locate when they are preparing their reports.

 

Chronology

We offer different levels of detail within the chronology. You can choose what areas the chronology is to cover, be it just breach of duty, causation, condition and prognosis or all of the aforementioned.

 

Also, you can choose whether the chronology uses full quotes, summaries, or a mix of the two.

 

During the chronology, we will also take a more in depth look into the records to determine if there are any records which have not been disclosed.

Turn Around

We will endeavour to return instructions to you within 2 weeks. If the task is urgent, we can turn the work around on a 1 week basis, but our urgent rates will apply. Should the case take longer than the anticipated 2 weeks (i.e. if it is a particularly large or complicated case) then we will inform you as soon as possible and keep you updated as to the estimated completion time.
